Base Specifications and Features

The ZeroJet system offers a range of advanced features designed for seamless integration into autonomous vessels. At its core, the standard jet unit includes a CAN throttle interface, allowing for precise control and reverse actuation output. It also provides flexibility with an option for low-power operation using third-party batteries, making it adaptable to various power configurations and mission requirements.

To operate effectively, the parent system must provide essential functionalities such as steering and override capabilities, as well as integration with the vessel's navigation systems. For safety, the system requires a kill switch output, which enhances operational security by feeding directly into the kill switch mechanism. Additionally, the ZeroJet system offers two battery options: a low-speed operation for precise scientific monitoring and extended battery life, and a full specification option with 350A continuous power, allowing speeds of up to 20 knots. Both battery options utilise a CAN open interface for smooth integration into the vessel’s overall system.
